CrossLingo ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") is a translation app for iPhone. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when you use text, voice, camera, image translation, and CrossLingo Plus subscription features.
CrossLingo does not require you to create an account. We do not operate a server that receives your typed text, microphone audio, speech transcripts, translations, photos, or conversation history for translation processing.
CrossLingo Plus subscriptions are provided through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Our servers are used to load subscription catalog information, create purchase orders, verify Apple purchase results, and confirm membership status.
Marketing and attribution reporting are disabled in the App Review build. If enabled in a later marketing build, the App will update this policy and any required privacy disclosures before submission.
We do not collect, sell, or share the following information through our own services:
To provide CrossLingo Plus, prevent duplicate or invalid purchases, restore purchases, and help diagnose subscription issues, the App may send the following information to our servers:

This information is used for app functionality, subscription fulfillment, fraud prevention, security, and customer support. We do not sell this information.
The App uses Apple-provided frameworks to perform its core functions. Depending on your device, iOS version, language, and system settings, Apple speech recognition and translation services may process requests on device or through Apple-operated services. We do not receive or store the content processed by Apple frameworks.

The App may store basic settings and local app state on your device using iOS app storage. This includes onboarding state, selected languages, subscription catalog cache, daily free translation count, and local conversation history if created by the App. Deleting the App removes its local app container subject to iOS behavior.
CrossLingo Plus is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple processes payment information and manages billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds. We do not receive your full payment card details.
The App may contact our subscription backend before and after an Apple purchase to create an order, report the Apple transaction, confirm membership, restore active subscriptions, and unlock paid features on this device.
The current App Review build disables marketing and attribution reporting. If a later build enables attribution or analytics, it may use services such as AppsFlyer, Meta/Facebook SDK, and our backend reporting endpoint, subject to App Store privacy requirements and any required system permission prompts.
Local app data can be removed by deleting the App from your device. Subscription and purchase verification records may be retained as needed to provide the subscription, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and support customer service.
The App is designed to function without an account or our own data collection backend. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date will be revised when material changes are made.
